So on with the next lot of toons that have either driven, ridden or of course been associated with a van.

These cartoons actually compete with each other for viewings and ratings and it really is up to you on which one you like the most. There haven’t been many van appearances in them but when there have, they have been pretty funny.

News Van- Simpsons

Kent Brockman is the guy with the job of having to sit in this van while it goes around to the spots in which the news needs to be reported. Kent is never seen driving the van itself but it is a known fact that he does not come up with all of these quirky remarks himself, the team in the van channel them through to him.

Surveillance Van- Family Guy

This has actually only featured in one episode of the popular show and is used to listen in on the conversation that Lois is having with an ex boyfriend. Peter listens in right at the wrong moment and of course thinks that she is having an affair with this guy when in reality it is perfectly innocent. Peter of course is not listening from the start so thinks the worst when in actual fact it really isnt too bad at all.

Kenny Loves Ice Cream- South Park

There have been a lot of vans in this series simply because it has gone on for such a long time, the best one has to be this one. The van has only ever appeared in one episode and in the episode did not manage to serve ice-cream but to kill Kenny.

So there it is, the best vans ever to exist in cartoon history. Let us just hope that these toons looked into commercial contract hire for their vans to save a bit of money. Van contract hire could actually be a better way to use a van as it is a lot cheaper than buying one outright.
